I am Forever Grateful

Dear Professor Jorisch,
Thank you so much for a fantastic semester. I learned so many new tools that will actually be helpful in the future. The fact that you taught me Excel is amazing. My last internship over the summer would have been so much easier had I just known the fill handle function! I truly feel like I have mastered Excel to the point where I can figure out a formula for any situation.
My apartment has nine people living in it, so the bills and bill payments get very tricky. I actually set up an Excel spreadsheet that breaks down each bill and shows how much each person still owes. It’s extremely helpful for someone like me, because I forget that they paid seconds after I put the check down. This is a class (to the exclusion of many others) that will actually help me throughout my life and I could not thank you enough for that.
We also did a good amount of Microsoft Word. Although it isn’t as “flashy” as Excel, and people are not as impressed if you call yourself a “master of Microsoft Word,” I do feel like I know more than the next guy and that my papers will always look just a little more professional and well done.
I sincerely hope that this is not the last post I make because I absolutely plan on taking Excel for Business with you before I graduate. This little taste just isn’t enough to satiate me. So although I will be on at least a semester hiatus, I shall be back!
Thank you again for a wonderful semester. Your teaching style kept me involved and excited, and it seems like most of it has stuck,
Drew Feld

Have you no shame or will you say anything no matter how humiliating just to cozy up to a professor..
